SNS Don't try this at home is a six-member independent male band. They debuted on March 5, 2021 with the EP Don't try this at home.

While Dave Navarro might be known for his time in Jane's Addiction, he was part of another seminal rock group in the '90s. Navarro joined Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1993 and left in 1998, contributing his funkadelic licks to the 1995 album, "One Hot Minute," as per Guitar World. Despite already being a guitar icon when he teamed up with RHCP, he wasn't as universally beloved as the band's former guitarist, John Frusciante, though he understood "the outcry from the fans," comparing his situation to Gary Cherone's controversial stint as the third vocalist for Van Halen (via SiriusXM).

Here in northeast Ohio, back in eighteen-o-threeJames and Danny Heaton found the ore that was lining Yellow CreekThey built a blast furnace here along the shoreAnd they made the cannon balls that helped the Union win the warHere in Youngstown, here in YoungstownMy sweet Jenny I'm sinking downHere darling in YoungstownWell my daddy worked the furnaces, kept 'em hotter than hellI come home from 'Nam worked my way to scarfer, a job that'd suit the devil as wellWell taconite coke and limestone fed my children and made my payThem smokestacks reaching like the arms of God into a beautiful sky of soot and clayHere in Youngstown, here in YoungstownSweet Jenny I'm sinking downHere darling in YoungstownWell my daddy come on the Ohio works when he come home from World War TwoNow the yard's just scrap and rubble, he said "Them big boys did what Hitler couldn't do."Yeah these mills they built the tanks and bombs that won this country's warsWe sent our sons to Korea and Vietnam, now we're wondering what they were dying forHere in Youngstown, here in YoungstownMy sweet Jenny I'm sinking downHere darling in YoungstownFrom the Monongahela valley to the Mesabi iron rangeTo the coal mines of Appalachia, the story's always the sameSeven hundred tons of metal a day, now sir you tell me the world's changedOnce I made you rich enough, rich enough to forget my nameAnd Youngstown, and YoungstownMy sweet Jenny I'm sinking downHere darling in YoungstownWhen I die I don't want no part of heaven, I would not do heaven's work wellI pray the devil comes and takes me to stand in the fiery furnaces of hell

While Dirt served as a warning sign, their self-titled album was a sonic farewell. The album cover was graced by a three-legged dog, which some say represented Alice in Chains, who by this point in time, was a wounded animal.

The story was told first as a play by Samuel Taylor, who adapted it for the 1954 Billy Wilder film, with Audrey Hepburn as the chauffeur's daughter, William Holden as the rich playboy who falls for her and Humphrey Bogart as his older brother, who wins her. Those names - Wilder, Hepburn, Holden and Bogart - are such towering Hollywood monuments that it seems foolhardy to build beside them, but that is what Sydney Pollack has done with this 1995 version, and he has gotten away with it. The new version is just as satisfying, if not as dry and cynical, as the original.

Gerald Levert and his dad, Eddie Levert, covered Roger Whittaker's popular 1982 song for Gerald's 1995 album, Father and Son. And seeing the names behind the track, it's a fitting tune that delves into close-knit father-son relationships.

The drama of a million individuals going so far from their homes changed the country. It gave the Deep South a character it retains to this day; and it changed the slaves themselves, traumatizing uncountable families.

Boxley left Natchez in 1960, at age 20. He spent 35 years in California as an activist, as a teacher, as a foot soldier in anti-poverty programs. He came home to Natchez in 1995 and discovered Forks of the Road.

After the surprise success of Bat Out of Hell, Steinman had another set of songs all ready for Meat Loaf. But the stresses of touring wore down the singer, who blew out his voice. So Steinman recorded the followup album, Bad for Good, himself. In 1981, he and Meat Loaf finally returned with Dead Ringer. But the four-year break was too long for fans, who pretty much ignored the album and this first single, which stalled at No. 84. Clocking in at seven minutes and featuring the Phil Spectorian production that defined their hit record, "I'm Gonna Love Her for Both of Us" was the closest Dead Ringer got to 'Hell.'

After 16 years, nobody really expected the long-awaited sequel to Bat Out of Hell to be a monster hit. But all the elements were in place on the album's opening track and lead single: the big sound (produced by Steinman this time), the long title, the epic length. Nobody really could figure out what the song is about either. Doesn't matter: Both album and single reached No. 1, firsts for Meat Loaf.

"Till I Was Loved By You" was a single from Chely Wright's 1994 debut album Woman in the Moon. Penned by Jackson and Mark Irwin (who also co-wrote Jackson's 1990 hit "Here in the Real World"), the song wasn't a major hit for Wright but still earned modest radio airplay and helped her earn the award for Top New Female Vocalist at the 1995 Academy of Country Music Awards. 2ff7e9595c
